Meet NC Craft

A group of people sitting at a table outside on a vineyard

Established in 2000 as Canada's first commercial Teaching Winery, NC Craft has been shaping the future of the beverage industry for more than 25 years. Today, the brand brings together the Niagara College Teaching Winery, Brewery, Distillery and Cider programs under one banner, creating award-winning wines, beers, spirits and ciders while providing students with unparalleled hands-on experience alongside industry professionals.

At the heart of NC Craft is a commitment to education, innovation and quality. Every bottle reflects the collaboration between expert makers and the next generation of craft beverage leaders, resulting in products that have earned recognition on both national and international stages.

The winery is led by Head Winemaker Allison Findlay, a graduate of Niagara College's Winery and Viticulture Technician program. Since returning to her alma mater, Allison has continued a tradition of excellence while mentoring students and helping shape the future of Ontario wine.

Visitors are invited to experience this unique learning environment firsthand at the Niagara College Craft Beverage Centre, located in the St. David's Bench sub-appellation at the base of the Niagara Escarpment. Whether enjoying a guided tasting, exploring the vineyards or discovering the stories behind each vintage, guests become part of a place where education becomes craft.
