Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Tasting Passport programs organized by the Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake (“the Organizer”). By purchasing a ticket, accessing, or attending the event, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

  • Tickets (Signature Tasting Passes or Non-Alcoholic Passes) are valid only for the date range and event for which they are issued.

  • Each pass includes a set number of tastings at participating wineries, as described at time of purchase.

  • Tickets must be presented (printed or digital) at participating wineries for verification.

2. Age Requirement & Alcohol Service

  • Signature Tasting Passes that include alcoholic beverages are strictly for guests 19+ years of age.

  • Non-Alcoholic Passes are available and may be used by guests under 19.

  • Alcohol will not be served to minors, intoxicated guests, or anyone deemed unfit to consume alcohol under Ontario liquor laws.

  • Tastings must be redeemed during the published event hours (11:00 am – 5:00 pm daily).

  • Unused tastings are forfeited and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or refunded.

4. Refunds & Exchanges

  • All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or replacements for lost or unused tickets.

  • Tickets should not be purchased from unauthorized third parties. The Organizer is not responsible for invalid or counterfeit tickets.

5. Event Changes & Cancellations

  • All events, participating wineries, pairings, venues, times, and prices are subject to change without notice.

  • The Organizer is not responsible for weather-related cancellations, transportation interruptions, or other circumstances beyond its control.

6. Code of Conduct

  • Guests must follow all event rules, winery policies, and instructions from winery staff.

  • Disorderly conduct, abusive language, or failure to comply with staff direction may result in removal from the event without refund.

7. Liability & Assumption of Risk

  • By attending, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with wine tastings, food consumption, travel between wineries, and participation in event activities.

  • The Organizer, its affiliates, participating wineries, and partners shall not be liable for any injury, illness (including but not limited to COVID-19 or food-related illness), loss, or damage to personal property.

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer and all event partners against any claims related to your participation.

8. Photography & Media Consent
